HFATTM presents four tracks of rough noise, in which the main emphasis is on very organic-seeming sounds. The tone is quite thin and unpolished, which on one hand fits the style, but on the other eats away the power of the music. In principle there is nothing wrong with the material, it is proper, tangible noise that well fits the palate of any fan of the genre. Yet it must be noted that there is nothing exceptional about it. And this is where the lack of power becomes a serious problem: if the sound-quality would give the contents a good extra kick, the music would have much more of an impact. Now it's only a poor man's Squamata, in which it's easy to see how much better the contents could have been. Especially the end of the first track, Brown Sugar Heroin, and the beginning of the following Anita Cock, show this very clearly. At times there's some cut-up included, such as a bit of My Favorite Things. That doesn't, however, really add anything to the mix. So HFATTM is essentially just "OK"noise in the most boring sense of the phrase. It does entertain, but loads of noise albums beat it fair and square.

HFATTM esittää neljän raidan verran karua hälyä, jossa pääpaino on orgaanisen oloisilla äänillä. Soundit ovat varsin karkeat ja ohuet, mikä toisaalta sopii tyyliin, toisaalta syö musiikilta tehoja. Periaatteessa materiaalissa ei ole mitään vikaa, se on mallikelpoista konkreettista hälyä jota kelpaa kenen tahansa noisen ystävän kuunnella. Käytännössä on kuitenkin myönnettävä, että se ei myöskään erotu genren massasta millään tavalla. Ja juuri tässä kohtaan tehojen puute muuttuu ongelmaksi: jos soundit antaisivat sisällölle kunnolla lisäpotkua, tavara iskisi paljon nykyistä paremmin. Nyt tuloksena on ikään kuin köyhän miehen Squamataa, josta helposti kuulee kuinka paljon parempaa tavara olisi voinut olla. Varsinkin avausraidan Brown Sugar Heroin loppupää on tästä kiistaton esimerkki, samoin kakkosbiisin Anita Cock alku. Välillä seassa on myös cut-upiksi vedettyä tai venytettyä perinteisempää musiikkia, esim viipale My Favorite Thingsia. Sekään ei kuitenkaan lisää sekoitukseen mitään erityistä. HFATTM on siis "ihan kivaa" noisea sanonnan tylsimmässä mielessä. Kyllä sitä viihteekseen kuuntelee, mutta kovin moni kiekko menee aivan ongelmitta edelle. Jiituomas
