Tälle erittäin kauniisti pakatulle kiekolle on kerätty raitoja Faunin, Siebenin ja In Gowan Ringin yhteiseltä kiertueelta vuonna 2007. Suurin osa on peräisin yhdeltä keikoista, Utrechtin Tivolista. Tyyli on selvästi Faunin studiolevyistä poikkeava: jättämällä syntetisaattorin vaimeammaksi taustalle, yhtye kuulostaa selvästi folkimmalta kuin yleensä. Ainakin minulle tämä tyyli kolahtaa selvästi normaalia folk-poppia paremmin. Varsinkin Rad pääsee huomattavasti paremmin oikeuksiinsa tällaisena tulkintana. Lisätärppinä levyllä on yksi Siebenin kappale (iki-ihana Love’s Promise) ja kaksi In Gowan Ringin raitaa. Niistä kaikki muuttuvat suuremmalla joukolla soitettuina kiehtovan erilaisiksi alkuperäisiin nähden, vaikka muutokset ovatkin varsin pieniä.

Folk-skenensä tyylin mukaisesti levy tulee kauniissa pahvikansissa, erittäin kattavan vihkosen kera. Se on esine jonka haluaa omistaa. Sisältönä on erittäin taitavasti soitettua, monipuolista perus-folkkia, ja se kestää lukuisia kuuntelukertoja pysyen nautittavana. Se on myös mainio läpileikkaus Faunin tuotantoon ja siihen miten vahvoja yhtyeen melodiat todella ovat, kun niiden annetaan nousta kunnolla esiin.

On this very nicely packaged disc is a collection of tracks from the joint tour of Faun, Sieben and In Gowan Ring in 2007. Most of them are from one of the gigs, at Tivoli in Utrecht. The style is obviously divergent from Faun’s studio albums: By leaving the synthesizer way more back, the band sounds much more "folk" than they normally do. At least for me this is an approach that is far more enjoyable than their typical folk-pop. Especially Rad becomes a lot stronger when played this way. As an extra lure the album contains one Sieben track (the ever-wonderful Love’s Promise) and two In Gowan Ring songs. Despite the changes in them being quite small, all three are interestingly different due to being played by a much larger group than usually.

In the habit of the folk scene in which Faun is involved, the album comes packaged in good-looking cardboard covers and with an extensive booklet. It is a thing one wants to possess. The contents are extremely well played, quite typical folk music, and stay enjoyable for numerous and numerous times of listening. It is also a nice sampling of Faun’s music, including the fact of how strong the band’s melodies really are, when they are given a proper chance to shine.
